Dr. Paul Weinstein
Dr. Weinstein is known throughout Florida — and throughout the country — as a true leader in the field of oral surgery. After he completed his undergrad education at Emory University in Atlanta, he earned his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Following his residency in general dentistry, he embarked on a four-year training program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale University. He is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and has earned Diplomate status with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing, and biking.
Dr. Travis Thompson
Dr. Thompson once had dreams of becoming a fighter pilot, but circumstances steered him in another direction — that of oral surgery. He attended dental school at the University of Florida before moving onto his oral and maxillofacial residency at Shands Hospital. During his residency, he was given the Award for Oral Surgical Excellence. Today, he is proud to be an experienced, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and has co-authored several well-respected papers. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and being physically active.
Dr. Jeronimo Guzman
Dr. Guzman began working as an oral surgeon in Wellington with our team back in 2007, and we are truly honored to have him! He graduated from dental school in 1999 in his native country of Mexico. Later, he spent years refining his oral surgery skills at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and The University of Puerto Rico. Today, he is proud to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology. When he isn’t working, he enjoys exploring the world with his family.
Dr. Christopher Chafin
Dr. Chafin is a Florida native. He embarked on his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. He went on to complete a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida, where he was chief resident. He graduated from University of Florida Medical School with his MD, after which he completed a one-year general surgery residency. He is a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of numerous prestigious organizations. Beyond work, he loves to spend time with his wife and their beloved dog.
