Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Holland’s path to oral and maxillofacial surgery took him from collegiate athletics at Duke University to an Ivy League dental education at Columbia University, followed by advanced surgical training at one of the country’s busiest academic medical centers.
Today, a major focus of his practice is helping patients with failing teeth, severe bone loss, long-term denture use, and complex dental histories transition to a fixed, implant-supported smile.

Dr. Holland incorporates advanced digital technology throughout the full-arch treatment process. His workflow may include:

Education & Surgical Training
Before entering dentistry, Dr. Holland competed nationally in junior tennis and ranked among the top 10 players in the country in the 18-and-under division. His success earned him an athletic scholarship to Duke University, where he competed as a collegiate athlete and was named to the ACC All-Academic Team for four consecutive years.
Dr. Holland earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating at the top of his class. His academic honors included:
- The Herbert J. Bartlestone Award for academic and research excellence
- The Abraham and Martha Barnett Scholarship Award for outstanding academic achievement
He then completed a rigorous four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, affiliated with Georgetown University, ultimately serving as Chief Resident.
His surgical training included extensive experience in dental implant reconstruction as well as advanced technologies such as dynamic image-guided surgery and digitally planned full-arch implant placement.
