Education & Specialized Training
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Weinstein began his academic journey at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, followed by a rigorous two-year general dentistry residency and fellowship. His passion for advanced surgical care then led him to the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale University, where he completed a four-year specialty residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
During his time at Yale, he was a key member of the craniofacial team, where he treated complex congenital and syndromic cases, including cleft palate repair and facial reconstruction. This experience laid the foundation for the wide scope of advanced services he now performs at SFOMS.

He works closely with referring general dentists and prosthodontists to coordinate complex treatments such as full mouth reconstruction or implant salvage. His meticulous approach ensures seamless integration between surgical and restorative phases.
Outside the Office
Dr. Weinstein is married to Lauren, a registered nurse, and together they have three sons—Bill, Greg, and Alex. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, biking, and golfing throughout South Florida and beyond.
