Since joining our practice in 2007, Dr. Guzman has become widely respected across Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas for his precision, leadership in jaw reconstruction, and exceptional ability to put patients at ease.

Surgical Education & Advanced Training
Dr. Guzman began his dental education in Mexico City, graduating in the top 5% of his class at Universidad Tecnológica de México in 1999. He went on to complete a public service year at the National Institute for Respiratory Disease, followed by a master’s degree focusing on medical emergencies in dental settings.
His U.S. surgical journey started with a foreign externship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and an 18-month internship at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, where he was later accepted into their four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. During this time, he was heavily involved in:
- Complex facial trauma reconstruction
- Maxillofacial infections and multidisciplinary cases
- Surgical instruction across general surgery, trauma, anesthesia, and dentistry

Today, Dr. Guzman is internationally recognized for his expertise in pediatric and adult oral surgery. He holds surgical privileges at:

In 2022, he co-founded the Head & Neck Microvascular Surgery Institute alongside Dr. Anastasiya Quimby and Dr. James Azzi, establishing the pioneering CRJ Protocol (Comprehensive Reconstruction of the Jaw). This approach combines virtual 3D surgical planning, fibula-free flap grafting, immediate dental implant placement, and same-day prosthetics for patients with aggressive bone loss, tumors, and osteonecrosis.

A Multidimensional Life Beyond the Office
Known for his warm personality and easy rapport with patients, "Jeronimo" is just as dynamic outside the OR. He and his wife, Dr. Isabel Guzman, a dentist specializing in facial aesthetics, are raising two children, Sebastian and Elena. Their family values include global travel, language fluency, and artistic development.
Fun Facts About Dr. Guzman:
- Race Car Driver: Winner of multiple national and international motorsport events. He even raced in Le Mans, France, as part of the French Porsche Cup.
- Pianist: Classically trained since age 7. He creates his own cinematic arrangements and plays by ear.
- Philanthropy & Education: Passionate about mentoring the next generation of surgeons and improving access to reconstructive care.
